Everything pickles
Talking of pickles as seen in my "port and pickles diet" post, here they come in all shapes and forms from candles to mints to soaps at reasonable prices. I suppose these below were sketched the morning designer had a severe hangover.
Pickle toothpaste, pickle toothpicks, pickle juice:

Freedom to smoke and pick up girls
I'm not going to review various electronic cigarettes.
I'm sold on BLU.
I was introduced to BLU e-sigs by a friend who works as a cardiac nurse at ICU. It's stressful and it's strictly non-smoking environment. She is a long time smoker. Had to either wait for a smoke till the end of the shift or risk her job sneaking to the hospital grounds in order to relieve her longing. BLU e-cigarettes came to the rescue.
She used them on her flight to Bangkok as well. So they definitely work for smokers who must spend extended periods of time in non-smoking environment.
People use e-cigarettes for smoking cessation - meaning they won't get actual smoke and ashes. They may stay on pure nicotine for months and years, get rid of smokers cough and feel better about their health in general since the intake of cancerogenous substances is minimised.
Now sold online, at Walgreen's pharmacies and at Cumberland farms stores. I order online using free shipping.
My preferred flavour is cherry. I like Java and wonder why they don't offer chocolate favour.
CNET News wrote about BLU and about new social feature in May:
Dr. Alan Blum, director of the University of Alabama Center for the Study of Tobacco and Society, told CBS News the idea of a social network is "wonderful." Blum points to a 2008 New England Journal of Medicine study (PDF) that showed smokers who joined others in trying to stop smoking were more likely to succeed than smokers who tried kicking the habit on their own.
"But I really don't understand how this e-pack signal is going to do anything other than help you pick up girls."
WTF? Isn't it exactly what you expect from social feature: to locate people with something in common and social feature on in close proximity, meet and befriend them?
The blu Premium pack offers its own social feature, which can be turned on by pressing the button under the charging indicators. Simply press and the pack will vibrate once to let you know its monitoring your surroundings or vibrate twice to let you know it’s in chill mode. With the blu Premium pack, you'll always send the right signals. When another blu user is within 50 feet, the logo will light up and the pack will vibrate, giving you the perfect ice-breaking opportunity.
I use them for social smoking. LED light glows at the tip of e-sig while I'm relaxing in the bar or restaurant with dimmed lights. And I use ultra-lights 'cause I don't care much for nicotine. There is a nicotine-free option available too but for some reason I want it to be somewhat real.
Disposables also available now, haven't tried them.

Miraculous "port and pickles" diet
Just met a guy at New Year party.
Well, actually that was not my first encounter with him.
But Gosh has he changed!
His story is worth telling.
Three years ago he found himself abandoned by his wife, fat and depressed.
He had to enter the dating market yet again.
His age and income permitting to fulfil his aspirations in search of a beauty he was lacking the looks.
Depressed and frugal as he was he invented a steady routine for himself.
Every morning he was consuming two individual cans of Campbell's soup or one Campbell's soup can of family size for breakfast. Or taking in whatever canned soup was on sale that week.
He was skipping lunch and working out in the gym across the road instead.
After work he was stopping at his friend's house and spending the evening with the supper of pickles in brine, Taylor port wine and light porn.
Six months on this diet allowed him to loose 58 pounds, become attractive and energetic.
Now he is happily married with PhD wife and a little baby.
His weight is almost the same as right after these six months of dieting though now he is feasting on the meals cooked or reheated by his beautiful wife.
His friend is spending his evenings at local chapter of AA but happiness is not for everyone.
Happy and healthy year for everyone whatever you dating situation and dieting resolutions are.
