For Liana this was the third accident involving grey minivan. The second one was already fading from her memory but the first one, the morning rear-end was all of a sudden making her scared.
She turned around and followed a bypass road. She hoped to part her ways with grey minivan for good.

But no. Almost at the end of her ride she is passed by police cars and emergency with sirens on as she pulled her car to the side of the road. Close to the crossroad there was an ugly scene - grey minivan smashed into a truck, truck standing across the road, parts of minivan scattered around, driver of minivan sticking his papers out of the window as policeman leans down to him. Liane feels she is obliged to get out of the car and offer help to minvan driver, apparently still trapped in his car. She can't just leave the place of a accident. She understands they are connected now and these are the prompts she was getting all day.

The siren sounds somewhere near. What is weird the sound doesn't move any closer and doesn't go away. It stays in place and becomes more persistent.
O my! This is Benney's bus! Bus driver is beeping impatiently outside the house. Benny is back from school. She has to get out at once to receive him.
